IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) is one of the most common digestive complaints, yet it can look completely different from one person to the next. It might involve bloating, tummy pain, wind or bowel habits that feel unpredictable β and how these show up, and how strongly, varies considerably from person to person. Some people come to us with a formal diagnosis from their GP; others simply recognise these symptoms in themselves. Either way, we always recommend speaking to your GP about ongoing digestive symptoms, as nutritional therapy works alongside medical care, not instead of it.
Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, nutritional therapy looks at your individual picture β your diet, lifestyle and history β to help identify what might be contributing to how you feel, and to support your general digestive wellbeing over the longer term. We start with a free discovery call, followed by a thorough look at your health history, diet and lifestyle. From there we put together a tailored nutrition strategy and roadmap, with ongoing follow-up to track how you’re getting on and adjust the plan as needed.
This isn’t about blanket restriction. We look at what suits you as an individual, using ordinary, accessible food rather than long lists of ‘off-limits’ items. Support is available online or in person near Harley Street, so you can choose whatever works best for you.
Nutritional therapy is not a medical treatment, and we don’t claim to treat, cure or prevent IBS. What we offer is personalised nutrition and lifestyle support for your general wellbeing — using ordinary, accessible food and practical guidance.

After years of stomach problems and seeing doctor after doctor, I was almost ready to give up. After my very first meeting with Emma I walked out feeling like someone had really listened — and now I feel like a completely new person. I have my life back!
I came to Emma feeling low on energy, run down and bloated. She helped me understand my body and build changes that fitted seamlessly into my life — she saw me as an individual, listened, and never judged.
